Name: Hades Cronus Fairy Tale Name: Jackson Dudman Fairy Tale Story: Greek Myth Age: Lost count after turning 3,000 Gender: Male
Strengths: -His ability to manipula-er...convince people -His confidence -His charm and wit
Weaknesses: -His ego -His minions/associates , Pain and Panic (not the brightest bulbs but..oh well) and do not get me started about Megara (or as he used to call her- NutMeg) -His mouth...sometimes
Personality: A. Hades is confident, clever, and tons of charisma. He's willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants and cut whatever deal necessary to get his way... kenobinorr: .....even though he himself will not get his hands dirty in doing so unless it becomes necessary, he's got 2 impish minions for that. B. He has an infamously short temper so he is not one to mess with at all. If you do get him steamed up, then be ready for a fiery and fierce encounter for he will not show any mercy. C. Despite his heated temper and cool charm-he does have a soft side that he keeps very well guarded from public view and only shows it to an extremely select few (A god...much less a villain...does have a reputation to keep so he can't look soft to just everyone after all)
History: During the 28 years of the curse, Hades was now a mortal man named Jackson Dudman who was one of the very few attorneys in town. In that span of time, he built up a reputation as being an attorney that was both ruthless and cunning and also extremely successful in getting his clients the verdict they wanted in a case which in turn made him very rich. Outside of the courtroom, he had this aching feeling that something...or someone...was missing from his life and the void left by it was something that ate at him from the inside, especially in his heart. For a former god that was supposed to be cold and uncaring, there was only one being that had truly laid claim to his heart and could bring out his soft, caring side like no one else before her or since then-the beautiful Seelie fairy named Georgina. He had spent all this time wondering where she was and if she was alright, etc and the waiting for an answer of some kind was now something that was too much to bare. Fairy Tale History: Many eons ago in the Enchanted Forest, Hades was born one of the six children of the titans Cronus and Rhea. Unfortunately, he did not get to have a normal upbringing for he and 4 of his other siblings were swallowed up whole by their father Cronus (who for some strange reason feared that a prophecy that stated one of his kids overthrowing him). The only one not to be swallowed up alive and whole, was his baby brother-Zeus-who instead got to grow up and did indeed overthrow Cronus (with the help of Hades and their other siblings...and a few titans). After they won in the long battle against Cronus- Zeus After they won in the long battle against Cronus- Zeus ,Hades, and their other brother Poseidon, drew lots as to who would gain what part of the world. Zeus won the Earth and sky, Poseidon won the Seas, and Hades was the 'lucky' one to win....the Underworld. This is where Hades' longstanding jealousy of Zeus really began..and to a degree goes on even to this day and age. Ever since the lots were drawn, Hades was the one that kept things going smoothly in the Underworld and the dead...well dead but at the same time he was also plotting a hostile takeover of Zeus and of Mount Olympus (the home of the gods....which Hades was not really fond of and wasn't allowed to visit). One day, a few decades after he got his position, Hades slipped onto the scene on Mt. Olympus to see Zeus' newborn son, Hercules. The visit was short-lived due to Zeus 'joking around' about Hades' position. He gave the little 'sunspot' a skull rattle and went back to the Underworld where he consulted with the Fates as to if Hercules would prove to be a threat to his takeover plot. As it turns out, he would be so Hades got his 'best' minions-Pain and Panic-to go snatch the kid and bring him down to Earth...literally..and have the tot drink a potion that drained him of his strength which it did...for the most part. The kid wasn't full-on god strength but he was strong...something Hades did not know or even find out about until 18 years later (and after thinking the kid was weak or dead..either way just plain out of his way). When those 18 years were up, Hades worked with Pain, Panic, and his newly acquired 'helper' Megara to do whatever it took to get Hercules out of the way so that he did not interfere with his conquest. Long story short....Hades' plan was thwarted by Hercules and Hades...and his minions (including his band of titans that he freed from an underwater prison) were defeated and left to lick their wounds. Some centuries pass and the gods of Olympus and beyond were slowly out of 'power' but that did not stop Hades from going on with his evil schemes-not in the least. Up until the day the curse went into effect, Hades would stroll around unseen by anyone, thanks to his helmet of invisibility, working on deals with people and other assorted individuals or just causing a bit of trouble here and there. While out and about he met a beautiful Seelie fairy named Georgina with whom he spent a lot of time with and became very close with-falling in love with her with every passing day within a short period of time after the two met. Once the curse was enacted, all of those memories remained with him...but sadly for him the same could not be said of his immortality.
