Name: Dylan White
Fairy Tale Name: Dorian Gray
Fairy Tale Story: Picture of Dorian Gray
Age: In his fifties (looks in his mid twenties)
Gender: Male
Strengths: Charming, Witty, Friendly, Handsome, and Confident
Weaknesses: Impulsive, Reckless, Manipulative, Narcissistic, and overly Hedonistic
Personality: Dorian is pretty easy to get along with as long as you're not annoying the crap out of him or trying to kill him. If you're doing any of these things he will try his best to avoid you, and if he can't he'll most likely try to kill you or break you until you get the point he doesn't want to be bothered. To his friends he's kind and will go out of his way to help you, but to his enemies he will go out of his way to avoid you or get rid of you. Whichever one is better, though he doesn't like to have to clean up a murder mess so he'll probably just try very hard to stay away from you even if he could tear you apart with ease, he doesn't want to be bothered with the trouble that goes along with a missing person.
Dorian thinks he can do what he wants without consequence, within reason of course. He knows very well the trouble certain things can cause such as murder and several other felonies. He's not very good with solid rules since enjoys personal freedoms above all else. He loves to mess around and play. He can be immature and cruel in this sense, but he never means to hurt anyone's feelings when he's joking. Hurting someone is only intentional when he's out to get you. If he picks on you it usually means he likes you or at least enjoys having you around. If he didn't then he would just ignore you or do his best to make your life a living hell.
History: As Dylan White he's a man with dead parents raised by his grandparents. He runs a local art studio with his own painting hidden from sight in a backroom filled with many things precious to him. He believes the painting was drawn by his former best friend who died trying to save his life. He himself is also a man of the arts having most of his 'paintings' on display. He also plays piano quite often.
Fairy Tale History: Dorian lived in a land without color. He was born to a rich woman and a poor man, but their love was short lived. The woman's father had her then husband killed and she died in child birth. Dorian was raised by his cruel grandfather who abused him quite harshly. On one occasion his back was attacked with a hatchet several times. He moved away at age twelve to live with his father's parents who raised him quite kindly. At eighteen his rich grandfather died and Dorian inherited his estate. On his return he met a kind artist named Basil who was enchanted by Dorian's man beauty. Basil began working on a glorious painting of Dorian which is when he met Lord Henry.
Dorian began to listen to Henry's teaching of a new Hedonism, to live for pleasure. When the painting was done Henry played on Dorian's insecurities stating that he would grow old while the painting would be beautiful. Dorian began dabbling in witchcraft to find a way to make the painting age in his stead. He did procure a way to do it, but didn't believe it at first. He met a woman named Sibil Vane who he fell madly in love with, but sadly their love wasn't meant to be. He found that he grew bored of her being so hopelessly in love with him and ended it. It was later he heard she committed suicide. Something he still feels remorse for to this day.
Dorian indulged himself in every pleasure moral or immoral on Henry's advice. He threw many parties at his home, most of them erotic in nature. It was at after one of these parties Sybil's brother found and shot him. The wound did not kill him it instead healed itself. The shock from his attacker gave Dorian enough time to kill him. He ran to where the painting was an noticed a bullet hole where his own should have been. He hid the painting from sight continuing his life of scandal.
Basil wanted to use the painting in an art exhibit, but Dorian refused. The man kept pressing the matter and finally the immortal gave in showing him why. Basil wanted to destroy the painting, but Dorian ended up stabbing him to death. He blackmailed a scientist to get rid of the body completely. He continued his life of debauchery until he was eventually taken by the curse.
