I don't want to be the one the battles always choose 'cause inside I realize that I'm the one confused This world was completely strange, but at least the books he'd gone over in the hotel room at Granny's was helping a great deal with figuring out how some of the things worked here. Everything seemed just so much more... advanced. It appeared technology was another type of magic around here.
Cyrus had pondered over how to get out of this cursed land, and had come up with no solution. The rabbit wasn't hear to dig them their way out, and it appeared everyone else in this town happened to be just as bound. The only thing was Cyrus believed they actually belonged here, even though Alice and he did not. Cyrus wasn't even aware that this land hadn't always held magic.
He had left the hotel room early this morning, leaving a note on the pillow for when Alice was to wake up to let her know where he was. When he'd gotten up this morning, he'd went downstairs to get the two of them food only to run into a guy named Zanith. After some polite conversation, Cyrus began to open up about how they had no where to go in this world. That's when Zanith told him he should see his boss and gave him directions even he, who'd never been around here, could understand.
Cyrus followed them all the way to Mr. Gold's Pawn Shop. Back in Agrabah, he remembered a few of the marketplaces having stands to pawn things. Usually the owners were greedy, always trying to rip you off. Given that, he already had a bad vibe about this place. Regardless, he needed the help.
He pushed open the door, listening to the little bell ring. "Hello?" He spoke, looking from left to right. This place was filled with all kinds of odds and ends. "Is anyone here?"

He was going to go mad if people kept interrupting him. Well, he was already mad, but he was going to get worse regardless. Never had his shop been busier. First, he just had to go and save that girl his son wanted him to save (not that he was complaining about it),then Gilgamesh had to come and interrupt his potion-making, then the potion wasn’t working right, it wasn’t giving off that greenish glow it needed. Then when he finally finished it, Belle wasn’t happy with him, and for good reason but he was still not happy about it. And so now Gold was sulking, boiling up a plan to kidnap Oliver, bind him and make him beg for mercy. Because that was the only thing that could bring him joy at this point. And right now? He couldn’t care if Belle wouldn’t be happy with it. He was just… not in a good mood.
Gold made his way to the front of his shop, cane in hand, even though he didn’t need it, and a scowl to match his mood. Whoever was there was going to have to have a really good excuse for being here, or he might just take his anger out on this intruder. However, those few seconds that it took to walk from the back to the front of the shop helped him calm his rage, and while he was still scowling, Gold assured himself he would not attack the customer. It would ruin his plans for later. For freeing himself from his dagger. No, no, he had to lie low. He knew what was going to happen in Storybrooke and he needed to be a neutral party.
“What can I do for you?” Gold said resting his hands on his cane, stopping at the door to the back of the shop.
