| Graham had the first day in a long while off of work. Possibly because he hired a new deputy who was on duty now and he wasn’t needed. Normally he would work anyways because he had nothing else to do, mostly because Regina was at work and she wasn’t available to provide a distraction (and funnily enough, Graham never really wanted to be with her unless she wanted to be with him). However, today was different. He was driving to work planning on working today, when a giant white wolf appeared in front of his car. Naturally he swerved out of the way and got out to investigate. But the wolf ran off. Like the idiot he was, or rather because he felt some sort of pull, he gave chase.
He ran through the forest, past the well, into the cemetery, following the white wolf with different color eyes as if it were calling him, showing him where he needed to go. He stopped in front of a mausoleum, and stared for a moment. He could hear the pounding of his heart in his ears, engulfing every sense. He could feel something pulling him, pulling him closer to the grave house with… Regina’s father. Yes, it was Regina’s father’s tomb. Why was it pulling him here? Where did the wolf go? Did he even care where the wolf was now? The pounding in his ears was getting more and more powerful, he took slow steady steps towards the tomb, reaching his hand out, the pounding getting louder and louder and louder.
It hurt. The pull from his chest, tugging him closer and closer, the pounding in his ears it was becoming unbearable, but yet he couldn’t seem to stop himself. He kept making slow deliberate steps, almost feeling the sweat beading up on his forehead, dripping down. Hold on, he wasn’t sweating… That was all in his head. The pounding was making him slightly delusional as he was lost in a sort of trance.
His hand made contact with the door’s surface and he stared for several moments the pounding slowly dying down. His breath was ragged and he blinked a couple times in order to moisten his eyes as he hadn’t blinked since he gave chase to the wolf. His heart was slowly slowing down and he was starting to regain some sense. What the hell happened to him?
